What is the best rap song ever – White Flannel Trousers Season 2 Episode 7

And here it is. The one you’ve all been waiting for. And now that it’s here, it comes with an apology. Sorry for the sound quality. Tom’s mic kept going in and out, and we recorded this inside an airplane hangar, several yards away from the microphones.

  1. Candace says:

    All right y’all.

*Kanye and Taylor Swift’s picture as the first thing you see for this particular podcast. So perfect*
*When Abinadi and I teamed up on Tom*
*Loved listening to all the music during the episode. Ezra listened to this podcast episode too. And danced.*
*I like the March Madness style episodes*

*When I yell at Tom for Air Force One vs. Jesus Walks. I suppose the spirit of Kanye was rubbing off on me* Sorry Tom. Got heated there for a second…

Fun podcast! If I say so myself…

Whew! Those were some hard decisions.

    – Love the sound clips; great idea!
    – Candace was a lovely and knowledgeable guest 🙂
    – Super glad Outkast made the list!

    – Two songs each from Nelly and Kanye and not a single one from Dr. Dre (what happened here?!)
    – I would have included So Fresh, So Clean, Mrs. Jackson or B.O.B over Rosa Parks, and it would have made it to the Final Four
    – Danny Brown probably shouldn’t have beat out Sugarhill. I’m pretty sure they sampled from a Gorillaz song – though the result is really cool!
    – No women rappers 🙁 – I feel like Salt-N-Pepa has dance-ability AND crazy influence

Who is right and who is wrong? I think you all lost and won some in this podcast.
    – Tom – You win for sticking to what you love; there’s nothing wrong with stomping in your Air Force Ones.
    – Abinadi – You win for making some great, convincing arguments.
    – Candace – You win because you obviously knew the most and have good taste.
    – Emily – I’m the overall winner in this podcast. I’m patting myself on the back right now.
