Board Game Give-Away (e-mail signup required)

UPDATE: The contest is concluded. Thanks for participating, and congrats to the winners!

UPDATE: I’m posting the winners here. But don’t let that stop you from signing up, there are still more games!

Short story: Join my sci-fi/fantasy book e-mail list for a chance to win a free board game. Here’s the link to join:

Long story: Michael Mindes, of Tasty Minstrel Games, released a youtube video a while back about how to create an audience for board game publishers.

Then, at the beginning of the year, I noticed this blog post on Reddit: Why I’m Giving Away $2014 in Board Games

It got me thinking about my own audience, except as an author instead of a board game publisher. I have several games I could give away like Michael Mindes did, and I think there is a healthy overlap between board game hobbyists and people who read sci-fi/fantasy.

So here I go. If you’re interested in both board games AND sci-fi/fantasy books, then this is the perfect place for you. Sign up for my e-mail list here, and you’ll get a chance to win a free board game. And you’ll be on my e-mail list for new book releases. I have a Kickstarter going right now, and more books coming soon. It’s pretty exciting, and I want you to be a part of it.

A few things: I will not trade or sell your e-mail. Nor will I spam you. I’ll send out e-mails to announce new releases and contests, or news about the company.

Several of the games were donated to my wife’s convention last year, so they have a sticker on the cover advertising So we get more shelf space for new donations for her convention, and more advertising for Tox of Crits Happen. And more games for you. A win-win-win.

I’ll hold a drawing once a week (starting June 9th) from the list of names, and I’ll send you an e-mail for your physical address if you win. You can only win once. If you don’t win, your name will still be in the next drawing.

To the games. Below is the list of available games to win. Remember to sign up here for eligibility:

Such a great idea! Is the competition only open to those from the United States?

    • Tom says:

      Hi Olivia,

It’s open world-wide. I’ll ship wherever shipping is allowed.

Thanks for the interest, good luck!
